One of our most popular webinars, the Toilet Tactics for our Tamariki series is presented by Continence Nurse Lisa Smith, who has more than 35 years of experience working with children and young people. She has specialised in bowel and bladder issues in tamariki for the past almost 20 years. Each session is between 45 minutes to 1 hour long.
This free online module, developed with support from the IHC Foundation, aims to give you practical knowledge and tools for supporting disabled students to achieve their best level of continence and improve their overall quality of life. This training was designed for schools (e.g., teachers, teacher aides, and learning support workers) but the content may be useful for anyone supporting students with additional physical, sensory, developmental, learning, and/or behavioural needs.
